For $25 you get access to the cruise ship, battle ship, and submarine. It’s a very educational and interesting place to visit. They have a lot of preserved artifacts and have restored the rooms to make it look as it did back in the day.

This is a nice naval ship to visit. I went here and was satisfied with my experience. This is a naval cruiser and you can walk on the main deck, below deck, and above deck levels of the ship. The entrance to this ship is from the neighboring USS The Sullivans light cruiser, and the exit is onto the neighboring USS Croaker submarine. The stern of this ship has two missile launchers and you can see the missile loading and setup area inside the ship. You can also walk through the ship’s mess hall, crew quarters, officer’s lounge, admiral’s quarters, brig, and bridge. There are also multiple exhibits on veterans of different wars, an exhibit about the Boy Scouts, and an exhibit about the Polish military in WWII. I gave this ship five stars because it is a very well preserved ship with many cool features you can see, such as the missile loading area of the ship.

Very cool light cruiser, one of 27 completed for WWII. This ship was built too late to join the war and was eventually converted to a missile cruiser with up to 46, 3 ton, 9 meter-long Talos missiles. Walking inside the main storage area made me think more of a factory than a battleship, it was quite impressive. To think 1,400 sailors lived on that ship, it must have been pretty cramped overall.

I’m not typically one for museums and ships… but this was an incredible visit that blew me away. The museum Ship is laid out with tons of displays, some interactive, historical facts and exhibits and provides a chance to really explore the labyrinths of this vessel.

The volunteers are knowledgeable and friendly, as they provide guidance on how to best experience the museum. I HIGHLY recommend if you are looking for something to do while in Buffalo.

We happened to see this from the highway on our way to Canada, so we pulled off and went to take a closer look. Really awesome history. We were too late for the tour.

I went with the sea cadets for a 10 day overnight trip but the museum part of the ships and sub is amazing. The price is very reasonable and would highly recommend.
