It has been money well spent. We have been going for a year now. Her test scores have improved and most importantly her confidence. I would suggest Sylvan learning to anyone whether it’s for academic improvement or just reassurance.

I came to Sylvan looking for a way to help my children make up the lost ground from virtual school. I knew there were some gaps in there education from all the craziness in the last 15 months. We started with an assessment of skills in both reading and math. I learned what my girls had accomplished, had a solid understanding of and where they could improve to bring themselves up to grade level. Heather put together a wonderful plan that was easy to understand with tangible goals and a timetable that would have my kids in good shape for the start of the new school year.

So this summer, my girls started coming to Sylvan twice a week, for an hour or two each day. They are doing great. They have a combination of self-guided learning, teacher guided instruction, and independent work with evaluations. Nothing gets glossed over and students are never forced to move on without mastering a skill.

The best part? My kids love it. They enjoy the instructors, other students and the work that they do within within the Sylan program. They are also rewarded with tokens for doing good work and participating. Tokens are cashed in for prizes that they reserve and work towards. It is wonderful to see my kids school skills improve... while they're also working on money management, planning, goal setting, and the rewards of hard work without even realizing what's going on. I absolutely love seeing my kids work within a token economy!

We are going to stick with Sylvan when the school year starts. I think it will be great opportunity for reinforcement of the skills that they learn when they're in school.

Sylvan also offers homework help. I think that's going to be a lifesaver for our family. My oldest daughter doesn't want help from me when doing her homework. And she really doesn't want me to check her work either! But she is eager and excited to bring her homework to Sylvan and have them help her do her best work.

I am looking forward to this next school year and whatever it holds. Sylvan reinforces of love for learning that both of my kids have grabbed onto. I believe that this will create a lot less stress for our kids in school and in our home. I feel confident that Sylvan will work with our family to make this school year the best year for our kids.

After months of tutoring, my daughter’s grades and confidence are improving and she still enjoys going to her sessions which is great because it makes learning fun and not a chore. Thanks to all the teachers who help her.

I can’t believe the difference Sylvan has made. I knew my child wasn’t the best reader and homework was such a challenge. I was so scared to check into Sylvan because of the cost. I made the decision to call and have her evaluated. The showed she was a year behind. No wonder she was struggling so bad in school. During the evacuation visit I learned about the very affordable payment plans. After 2 visits we started seeing a difference at home. Now she is reading, actually reading. Now on road trips instead of her iPad, she grabs a book. She absolutely LOVES Sylvan and counts down the days each week until she goes back. She would go every single day if she could. I was worried about her self esteem with having tutoring but it has boost her self esteem when it comes to school.
I don’t know how those amazing teachers there are teaching the information but she is getting it. The teachers there are my heroes.
I can’t begin to say enough great things about Sylvan.

His improvement in reading has astounded us and his teachers. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful and I would recommend Sylvan to anyone who wants to help their kids reach their full potential.

In the 2 months my son has been going to Sylvan he has caught up an entire grade on his reading.
He enjoys it so much and genuinely looks forward to going every week.
Definitely recommend if your child needs that extra help to get caught up.
