Great place! I highly recommend it! Primer is full immersion in Spanish, which is a unique offering in Nashville. The teachers are kind and loving to the kids - our children have gone there for three years and they both love the school and love their teachers. They have picked up so much Spanish and we can see the ways that this program has opened up their minds and hearts to other cultures and languages.

The teachers are professional, and the organization as a whole does a great job communicating with families. We previously had our daughter in a typical "keep 'em alive" daycare (no shame in that game, we all do what we have to), and we were blown away by how much Primer actually does with the kids. They learn songs, read books, play sports, do some gardening in the summer, and my kids are constantly coming home with creative crafts and literary projects based on what they are learning that day. The only knock against it is that it is not full time daycare, which I know that they are working towards. Overall, this place is very worthy of 5 stars. It is a lesser known gem in the city, and we are grateful for having stumbled upon it three years ago!

My two children have attended Primer for the past three years, and we are so grateful for our experience! This is true Spanish immersion, which means that my five and three-year-old are now incredibly comfortable with the language. In terms of their listening skills, they seem to understand nearly all Spanish. At home, they often choose to watch movies and read books in Spanish (and we are a non-Spanish speaking home!). There is a real curriculum at Primer that you won't find at any daycare nor most PDOs, including an introduction to art. My kids have also made the absolute best of friends of diverse backgrounds - we are so grateful. The director is extremely quick to respond to any concerns or questions, and through Facebook and Brightwheel, there is excellent daily communication about my children and their wellbeing. Finally, we have absolutely loved the warm atmosphere. My kids describe their teachers as kind, silly, and their favorites! Some of the teachers have been there since we started in 2021, which is so rare in the childcare industry. We highly recommend Primer Academia and are so lucky that we stumbled upon it at such a formative time for our children!

My daughter attended this school in 2023 for a couple months. As of today, she calls it the “bad” school, she was never happy there. In my opinion, if you decide your kids here, please be vigilant, ask questions.

We have been so happy at Primer for the last 5 years. My son has learned so much including Spanish and a lot about the Bible. The staff are so wonderful and sweet. The location is perfect as well.

I highly recommend this program! From the moment you enroll, you'll be impressed by the dedication and expertise of the teachers and staff. My 2 year old has been attending the program for a year and a half. I feel safe sending my child to this program. The teachers and staff are excellent communicators. I get updates throughout the day. The drop-off and pick-up process is well organized. The program follows a strict illness policy to keep everyone healthy.

We have been at Primer Academia for two years and my sons have loved it! They are learning a lot of Spanish from native speakers which I love, being a bilingual Spanish teacher myself. They have outside teachers come in to teach art and sport class which is always a highlight of their day. They have events around each holiday and even some birthdays. They know how to celebrate the families and children in their program.

The teachers and loving and kind and obviously care well for my children. We highly recommend Primer Academia!

We love Primer Academia!! My son has been attending the school for almost 1 year (he's almost 2) and he is always excited to go. The teachers and Director, Ana, love on him as if he is their own. He has learned many Spanish words and some that I've had to ask the teachers about because I had no idea what he was trying to tell me. 😉 The teachers are great at communicating with parents and are always willing to accommodate/follow your special requests for your child. I would highly recommend this program for anyone looking to immerse their child in Christian based, Spanish program that is filled with love.

My daughter (4yo) has been at Primer Academia for almost a year and has loved it! It is such a welcoming atmosphere, being greeted by name each morning by all the teachers! It was important to us that she learn another language and be introduced to other cultures and this year has given her the desire to do just that! Ana, the director, does an incredible job of organizing additional activities such as: gardening, firemen presentation, visit from a dental hygienist, weekly art classes and sports classes as well as a great Christmas program, thanksgiving potluck and valentines party!
